I cannot understand why the took Hello away..nor can I understand why another company hasn’t brought around another version of it.
this was the best IM program to share photos with. Since then I have had to burn so many cds and send out mailings of the photos thus using up more of the earth’s resources..paper, materials..all that wasted..when before I could just hello everyone the photos and all was good.

i miss hello and i can’t understand why they took it away. Everyone that I knew that had it loved it!

I am still so sad. There is nothing else like it and I want it back.
My Mom and I used it everyday.
Now we are using some slow version of FilePhile, to transfer a 5 min song has taken over 6 hours. YUCK! Does anyone have any idea if there is something better. I just cry everytime I want to give her a file. I miss the falling happy, winking faces, LOL’s and Hearts to say love you.

Bring it back, Please.

I was very disappointed to here of the Hello demise. I’d been using it and telling all my friends that this is the best way of view and transfer photos between friends.

The fact that you could easily paste some photos into the Hello folder and present them to a friend, without putting them up on a web site, was great.

Also the ability to run a slide-show for one another was fantastic. I’ve done this while talking to someone over the phone and explaining what the photos were about and where they had been taken. It was nice to have complete control over the timing of the slide-show I was displaying for someone.

I truly feel as though something wonderful has been taken away. This is one of the few programs, about which, I tried to spread the word.

Please bring back Hello!

FYI (because NO ONE seems to have picked up on it).

Google Hello was a MAJOR source of child pornography distribution. Of the cases we process (I work for a large computer forensics firm btw) around 70% used to use Google Hello to distribute images in an untracable way.

I think the pressure on Google got too much - so they closed it down (and understnadably so).

There is no real way of policing the system without infringing on other users privacy - so it was in the interests of all that it got shut down. It sucks but there ya go
